Guitar Playing Books - Are They Really Helpful
04/23/2008
If you have the passion to Learn & Master Guitar, you must be hearing suggestions about guitar playing books available in the market these days. But the question is, are these books really helpful in teaching music without sound? For some very talented musicians in their learning phase, these books are like great learning institutes, while for others; it is simply the way of throwing away valuable money.
No doubt, these guitar-learning books are inexpensive than other modes of achieving the same. But, the importance of learning from a live source could not be replaced with these books. Also, there is no concrete point in patiently waiting for hours to learn from a lifeless source. It has always been a subject of wonder for people like me that how can we of time holding a book in front of us and trying to practice our chords.
When we have an access to educators like Steve Krenz with Learn & Master Guitar programs, what is the need of accessing limited knowledge from these books? Well! This is my point of judging the efficiency of these books. There are many friends in my social network, who consider these books as worthy means of practicing guitar lessons.
Taking into account all these factors, I still have traces of doubts existing in my thought process about these guitar-learning books. Anyways, all these thoughts surfaced in my mind, when a friend of mine gifted this Learn & Master The Guitar book on my birthday last week. I am not able to plan how to utilize this ‘useful guide’, as advertised by its author.
