I would hope that my neighbor is not serious about running a computer store out of his garage like he told my husband today. I know that he has been out of work for a long time but I really do not want all kinds of people parking outside my house to go into his store. I cannot even believe that the city would allow him to do that.

He told my husband that he got a line of some used iseries servers that are being sold for just pennies on the dollar and he knows that he can turn a good profit on them. I remember him getting a good line on some used ibm equipment about four years ago and he sold them online for a good profit. I am wondering why he would not just do that again.

I really want to notify someone about what he wants to do but am not sure who to contact. I also feel bad for him since he thinks that he has a real opportunity to make some good money and possibly turn around his current financial situation. I know that he made a few thousand off of the used ibm stuff, so maybe he can do the same or better with the servers.

Maybe after he sells the used iseries servers out of the garage, hopefully he can do it quickly, and then he will have enough money to rent a real retail space and move his store there.
