A Happy Dressmaker
06/01/2010
A friend of mine finally had the courage to open up a dress shop in town. I knew she had the potential of making it big because she is really talented. I told her that the only way to get more clients is for her to become more accessible. Having a shop would enable people to see her work easily for they can easily reach her and her works now that she has one downtown.
We were so excited with the opening of the shop and we involved ourselves in the planning of the shop’s design. She wanted to place fixed awnings on her windows for she knows that having them could save her on electricity costs.
Luckily, the person she contracted to do her shop knew a supplier of awnings that was very reliable. Since the contracted gave a good word about the company, we decided to go and give them a visit. My friend was happy with the way they accommodated us and got their services right away. After choosing the colors and paying for them, we referred them to the contractor to coordinate with the schedule. The shop had an elegant feel to it and my friend could not have been any happier after the construction was finished. She is one happy dressmaker with a really beautiful shop.
