What I liked best about Ryan’s Mansion Galena is their service. For me, they are the best in all the Galena bed and breakfast hotels that I know. The moment my husband and I entered the establishment, their staff with complementary drinks and a personal butler to assist us with our luggage warmly welcomed us.

The mansion that I believe was built in the 1800’s is eye candy for me because I feel like I’m taken into a different era while my husband and I were enjoying our vacation. Among the 6 rooms that they offer, my husband and I were able to get a booking for the Garden Cottage, which we immediately fell, in love with. The room was very private and the coal-powered fireplace and whirlpool tub complemented it very well.

Overall, I would definitely recommend Ryan’s Mansion when it comes to Galena IL lodging. If you are the type of person who appreciates the intricate style and details of a past era and the sereneness of nature, then you are in the right place.
