When the owner of the company that I work for, asked if anyone would be willing to join the Scottsdale dodgeball league, I told him that I would. I wanted to work my way quickly up the ladder in this place and I figured that by befriending the owner, I could do it quicker. I have only worked for him, for about six months and he still does not know my name. I did tell him it again for the tenth time when he wrote it down for the Scottsdale dodgeball league team.

I contacted the Scottsdale sports league people, to see if there was anything that I needed to know before we had our first practices and games. They said that the person who is sponsoring the team should already have all the information that I would need and they were in charge of passing it on to the head coach. I had no idea who our head coach of the dodgeball Scottsdale sports league would be but I had a feeling that it might be my boss.

If he has all the information, then why would he have not passed it out to everyone on the team? I am going to have to check with the four other people who agreed to be on the team too and see if they have received any information.

I have been selling old coins on the auction sites for year and have been able to put myself through college that way. In fact, I just recently started helping out some friends and selling coins for them too. I take just ten percent of whatever they make but I handle the listings, and also the shipping and handling.

I guess that I am not the only person here on campus that had a hobby of collecting coins when I was a kid. I would have never started, had my grandfather not given me a few rare coins to get me going. I will never be selling old coins from my grandfather; I only sell coins that I found myself.

I hope to pass along the coins from my grandfather to my grandchildren someday. Then if they want to start collecting and selling coins when they get to college it will be their choice. I will tell them my story and how I did not have to borrow money from the government or my parents and I paid for college all by myself. I would hope that they might be inspired to at least add to their collection that I give them, even if they do not go to the extremes that I did.
